A great caregiver is kind, patient and respectful.

Has to be a selfless individual, someone who is compassionate.

There is no exact description because what you are doing is providing individualized care to people, and you need individuals of all types of all interests to be able to do that.

I love to dance with my residents.

We have a wonderful time, just like doing puzzles with them and braiding their hair, painting their nails, like they always just feel so pretty.

The best part of my day is knowing that I was able to assist someone, help someone with their daily living. That’s a very consistently rewarding job. Like I’m making a difference in somebody’s life.

It’s motivation to get up and come back the next day because somebody’s counting on me.
